New Delhi: The former Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after resigning from the Congress a few weeks ago. In a ceremony held at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi welcomed Kiran Kumar into the party. Kiran Kumar Reddy gave a speech on this occasion, where he took a veiled swipe at the Congress high command. He stated that he never imagined leaving the Congress party, but felt compelled to do so due to the party's lack of leadership and decision-making abilities. He also quoted a saying that implied the Congress high command is not receptive to outside advice.
