The Andhra Pradesh SSC board has implemented new security measures to prevent paper leaks during exams by introducing a unique QR code on the question papers. The QR code will be positioned in various locations on the paper and will assist in identifying the origin of any potential leaks. Additionally, the serial number of each question paper will be printed at the top. Last year, the Andhra Pradesh government faced criticism over a paper leak case that resulted in the apprehension of a number of government teachers, and a corporate school being charged. The Director of Government Examinations, D Devananda Reddy, has clarified that the adoption of this cutting-edge technology will allow the board to determine which students' papers were leaked and which examination center they originated from, simply by scanning the QR code. The decision to introduce the QR code has been endorsed by people of all sections particularly teacher associations and student unions.
