Amaravati: The Finance Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Buggana Rajendranath, delivered the annual budget proposals for the financial year 2023-24, incorporating inspiring quotes from famous individuals throughout his speech. The Minister emphasized that the state government is implementing various welfare programs and initiatives based on these messages. He began his speech by acknowledging the invaluable contributions of those who tirelessly worked to support the government during the Covid pandemic, even at the cost of their own sleep. During his address, the Finance Minister also shared the words of poet Rabindranath Tagore. He quoted Tagore's century-old message, "Nirantharam Karya Deekha, Vishaadrukpadamtho Madhini Marghadarshanam Chesala... Aa swechaga Viharinchela Naa Deshanni Jagrutham Cheyandi Tandri."
