Tirupati: Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu wrote a letter to Chief Election Commissioner about irregularities in the MLC elections. In his letter, Chandrababu Naidu alleged that YSRCP leaders and election officials had colluded to register a large number of bogus votes in many places. The letter included details of the bogus votes found in several areas, and Chandrababu expressed his concern that the inclusion of fake votes in the voters' list is undermining the integrity of the election process. Chandrababu also pointed out that the Tirupati parliamentary by-election had been affected by a wave of bogus votes in the past, and he alleged that the same issue was happening again in the graduates and teacher MLC elections. He further stated that people who had not even completed their degrees were registered as voters using fake certificates, and he alleged that a significant number of voters were included in favour of the YSRCP candidate with false addresses.
