CBI Summons Kadapa MP's Father for Questioning in YS Viveka Murder Case
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned Y.S. Bhaskara Reddy, the father of Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy, for questioning in connection with the murder of former Andhra Pradesh minister Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy. The case, which is four years old, is currently being investigated by the CBI.
Bhaskara Reddy has been asked to appear before CBI officials at Kadapa Central Prison on March 12. On Wednesday, officials served a fresh notice at his residence in Pulivendula town of Kadapa district.
Earlier, Bhaskara Reddy had been summoned for questioning on February 23, but he requested the CBI to postpone the questioning due to prior commitments.
