National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Nara Lokesh, has reached the 15th day of his Yuva Galam Padayatra in Gangadhara Nellore Constituency. During the padayatra, Lokesh has been conducting meetings with villagers to gather information about the problems they face. Nara Lokesh has accused the government of attempting to suppress the voice of the opposition with the help of the Police. He has alleged that the Police are working to obstruct his Yuva Galam Padayatra by creating various obstacles. At a recent meeting, Lokesh mocked Chief Minister YS Jagan, claiming that kissing people was a part of his padayatra. Nara Lokesh made a playful joke, saying that the "Deputy Superintendent of Police, Disha" was following him in his padayatra. He added that if he started kissing people like Jagan did during his padayatra, he would be booked under the Disha Act. This comment elicited laughter from those in attendance.
