The Indian cricket board has invited the families of Suryakumar Yadav and KS Bharat to the ground on the day of their debut, to make the occasion even more memorable.
In a departure from the traditional practice of having families cheer from the stands, the BCCI has invited the players’ families to the field to witness the moment when they receive their Test caps. This special moment was made even more poignant when India's head coach, Rahul Dravid, walked up to the families to personally shake their hands and offer his congratulations.
