AP Capital shift to Vizag before April, says TTD Chairman YV Subba Reddy:
TTD chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy has announced that the process of making Visakhapatnam the capital of Andhra Pradesh will commence once the legal disputes have been resolved. During a media address on Tuesday, Reddy stated that the shift to the new capital will happen before April. He pointed out that they had already made this clear during the Visakhapatnam Garjana Sabha.
Subba Reddy emphasized that the location of the Chief Minister when in Visakhapatnam is not a concern as many government buildings are available. He added that the unused IT companies on Bheemili Road will be utilized as government buildings. The chairman also mentioned that buildings suitable for use as a secretariat are also present in the area.
