Pragna Reddy, the daughter-in-law of Pullareddy Sweets, has written a letter to the President of India Draupadi Murmu, pleading her to protect her from his wife Bharathi Reddy and their daughter SriVidya Reddy. Bharathi Reddy, and Srividya Reddy, according to Pragna Reddy, have been harassing her and her daughter, 8, for the past two years. They had previously tormented her in exchange for dowry, and they had overnight constructed a wall to keep her from leaving the room. According to Pragna Reddy, the court replied by ordering the wall to be pulled down. She also mentioned in her letter that she was worried about them trying to kill her and her daughter. Prajna Reddy wrote a letter to President Draupadi Murmu pleading with her to treat her and her kid with justice, saying, "I am writing this letter to you with the thought that being a woman, you will understand the sorrow of a fellow woman."
