YS Jaganmohan Reddy, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, asked on Monday that the Prohibition and Excise department and Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) work together to ensure that the state is free of drugs. He proposed that the representatives of the two departments meet once a week to develop plans and take action to end the sale of illicit alcohol and drugs in the state. The Chief Minister suggested that large hoardings be erected in front of every college and university in the state advertising the SEB's toll-free number while speaking during a review meeting held at the camp office in Amaravati. Jagan stated, "We want to send our children to drug-free colleges''.
