Nara Lokesh, the national general secretary of the TDP, has blasted CM Jagan for allegedly treating BC activists and leaders unfairly. TDP MLC Lokesh reportedly claimed that Jagan's government has now come forth to demonstrate their support for BCs after three and a half years of governance, adding that it was shameful for Jagan's government to hold the Jayaho BC Sabha. Nara Lokesh claimed that the TDP had given the BCs a 34% reservation in local bodies and criticised the state government for lowering it to 24%. Jagan has been questioned by Nara Lokesh to apologise to the BCs. He has also accused CM Jagan of allegedly misusing sub-plan funds pertaining to 2.70 crore members of the backward classes. Nara Lokesh allegedly questioned the state government, "Has Jagan's government not betrayed BCs?" Jagan must respond towards it from the BC Sabha stage, according to Lokesh.
