TRS MLC Kavitha participates in Bathukamma celebrations

Metpalli: Telangana Rashtra Samiti leader, MLC Kavitha participated in Bathukamma festival celebrations held at a mini stadium, Metpalli on Monday. She played Bathukamma along with other women. Speaking to the gathering, MLC Kavitha said that Bathukamma is the festival that she likes very much. She also said that women in the state started thinking to protect the Bathukamma festival after the Telangana movement started.

She recalled her childhood days and said that she used to visit her village to celebrate the Bathukamma festival. She further added that it is very happy to see now that students are learning Bathukamma songs and celebrating the festival.
