Chittoor: In a tragic incident, three persons were charred to death in a fire at Paper Plates manufacturing unit. The incident took place in Rangachari Street, Chittoor in the early hours of Wednesday. According to the reports, the deceased was identified as Bhaskar (65), Delhi Babu (35) and Balaji (25). It is learnt that Bhaskar runs a paper plates manufacturing unit on the ground floor and resides on the second floor of the building. As per sources, the building was engulfed in the fire due to a short circuit and three people died on the spot. The police registered a case and an investigation is underway.
