Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Telugu Desam Party President, MLA Atchannaidu slammed the YS Jagan-led government for not completing the steel plant in Kadapa. Addressing the Assembly, MLA Atchannaidu stated that the establishing steel plant in YSR Kadapa district is Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act, 2014.

He said that the YS Jagan government failed to bring a new company to Kadapa and questioned what the state government did when the Vizag steel plant was privatised. He questioned why the state government didn't start works of the Kadapa steel plant even after three years. He further questioned why the tender was allotted to Liberty steel India Limited.
