Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday launched his Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, which will see him walk across 12 states. This walkathon will cover 3,570 kilometres over a period of 150 days. Addressing at Kanyakumari on September 7th, Rahul Gandhi said this walkathon is going to be a historic one. He said it has been launched to fulfil the aspirations of lakhs of Congress activists. He said this yatra is meant to unite everyone in this country. Rahul Gandhi said the Tricolour(National Flag) represents every Indian, the religion of every individual, state and language of the country. He has made it clear that this yatra does not belong to any particular religion or community. Rahul has alleged that the ruling party is trying to frighten the opposition using Enforcement Directorate, CBI and Income Tax.
