Amala Paul's estranged friend arrested after actress files a cheating allegation

Actress Amala Paul has filed a police case against her estranged friend Bhavninder Singh Dhatt in Chennai's Villupuram district for allegedly defrauding her in a business deal and threatening to post her images and videos online.

Bhavninder Singh was reportedly taken into custody by the Villupuram Crime Branch police on Tuesday. According to reports, the police filed a complaint against him under 16 different legal provisions, including forgery, intimidation, and harassment. In addition, the police have filed charges against 11 additional suspects who were involved in the crime and are currently looking for them.

Amala and Bhavninder, who reportedly had a romance in the past, reportedly split up after becoming estranged.
