On Monday, Union Minister Kishan Reddy made it clear that Home Minister Amit Shah had merely asked Tollywood actor Jr. NTR to dinner on Sunday night. He told reporters that they had a lengthy conversation on Telugu movies. 'Amit Shah learned about Telugu film history from Jr. NTR and the impact of iconic actor and Jr. NTR's grandfather NT Rama Rao on Telugu cinema,' he said. The top BJP leader also picked up information from Jr. NTR on NTR's role as NDA Chairman at the national level. On remarks made by former minister and YSRCP MLA Kodali Nani regarding a meeting between Jr. NTR and Amit Shah, Kishan Reddy declined to comment. He emphasised that the meeting between Jr. NTR and Amit Shah has no bearing on politics.
