Kakinada, August 21: Two workers died of burns and another suffered injuries when an explosion rocked in a barge due to leakage of gas while they were busy with welding works. On receiving information, the I Town police reached the spot and rushed the injured to Government General Hospital (GGH) for medical treatment. According to police, a barge used for cargo transportation is under construction at Canal Road near Kakinada port for the last few days. The deceased identified as Srinu and Ravi. Kakinada City MLA D. Chandrashekar Reddy visited the GGH and consoled the kin of deceased.
