The Kargil War hero Captain Vikram Batra has been given a very special honour. The largest artwork in the pool was painted by da Vinci Suresh. In a 1,500 square foot area, Captain Batra's likeness was produced after eight hours of labour with the aid of tiles. Kargil Vijay Divas was the occasion for the organisation of this programme. The largest underwater film in URF history is now held by this masterpiece. Scuba Bond Water Sports and the Army worked together to plan the event. The Pangode Military Station in Thiruvananthapuram held a special memorial service for the late Captain Vikram Batra on Tuesday as part of the celebrations for Kargil Vijay Diwas.
