A car driver attacked a traffic constable on duty in Bhimavaram, West Godavari district. When the constable attempted to halt the fast-moving car, the driver became enraged and assaulted him. He punched the constable with his fists. As a result of the attack on him, the constable was forced to defend himself physically. Gunupudi of the Bhimavaram was recognised as the car's driver. A case was filed against the driver, and he was remanded in custody. Photos and videos of a constable being assaulted have gone popular on social media platforms.
