According to a directive issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, India is poised to restart normal foreign flights on Sunday, nearly two years after the pandemic began. The government has set a two-year ban on international flights beginning in March 2020. According to the most current directive, Scheduled Foreign Carriers have submitted for approval of their international schedule. The Summer Schedule 2022 is in force from March 27, 2022, until October 29, 2022. All foreign flights will run at full capacity beginning on Sunday. Cabin crew members are no longer required to wear personal protection equipment (PPE), and airport security agents can continue pat-down searches of passengers as necessary. Adapting to a world ravaged by the pandemic, the aviation sector in the country and throughout the world has encountered several obstacles, with new varieties contributing to the recurrence of Covid cases multiple times in the previous two years.
