Kadapa: Passengers left midway by APSRTC driver over rash driving reprimand

Kadapa, July 13: In a bizarre incident, a driver of a APSRTC bus left passengers midway near Gurramkonda village in Annamayya district on Monday night. According to reports, a super luxury bus with 35 passengers set out from Kadapa to Bengaluru.

Passengers noticed driver was driving recklessly at a high speed. Fearing that bus may meet with accident due to incessant rains, they reprimanded driver. Felt humiliated, driver stopped the bus midway and walked away.

As the driver did not return even after one hour, passengers complained to local police and RTC officials. Immediately, another RTC driver was arranged and he took the bus safely to Bengaluru. Confirming driver left passengers midway, officials ordered a probe.
