Finland tops the world's happiest countries list while India ranks at 136th position
New Delhi: The European country Finland topped the list of the happiest countries in the world. This is the fifth time in a row that Finland has topped the list. Finland is followed by Denmark (2), Iceland (3), Switzerland (4), the Netherlands (5), Luxembourg (6), Sweden (7), Norway (8), Israel (9) and New Zealand (10). Superpower America ranks 16th on this list of happiest countries. Canada is ranked 15th in the world and Britain was ranked 17th.
India is ranked 136th in the list of happiest countries in the world. Neighbouring countries Pakistan and Sri Lanka ranked 121st and 127th respectively.
Afghanistan bagged 146th position, the last position among the list of happiest countries. Lebanon and Zimbabwe stand above Afghanistan.
