Operation Sindoor: Pakistan Admits 11 Soldiers Killed
In a significant disclosure, Pakistan has officially acknowledged the loss of 11 military personnel in India's retaliatory assault known as Operation Sindoor. This operation was conducted by India in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, inflicting substantial damage on the neighboring country.

According to Pakistan, among the 11 fatalities, six were from the Pakistan Army and five from the Pakistan Air Force. In addition, 78 personnel sustained injuries. The Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) issued an official statement detailing the extent of the losses and listing the names of the deceased soldiers.

The Pakistan Army soldiers who were killed in the operation include Naik Abdul Rehman, Lance Naik Dilawar Khan, Lance Naik Ikramullah, Naik Waqar Khalid, Sepoy Muhammad Adeel Akbar, and Sepoy Nisar.

From the Pakistan Air Force, the deceased were identified as Squadron Leader Usman Yusuf, Chief Technician Aurangzeb, Senior Technician Najeeb, Corporal Technician Farooq, and Senior Technician Mubashir.

Pakistan also reported that 40 civilians were killed and 121 others were injured during the Indian operation.

Earlier, India had claimed that between 35 and 40 Pakistani soldiers were killed in the operation. Additionally, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh had revealed that over 100 terrorists were neutralized during the assault.
