Govindappa Balaji, Accused in Andhra Pradesh Liquor Scam, Arrested

A key development has occurred in the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam case. Govindappa Balaji, one of the accused individuals, has been arrested by officials of the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Authorities confirmed that Balaji was taken into custody in Mysuru based on precise intelligence inputs.

According to official sources, Govindappa Balaji is currently being transported to Vijayawada with a transit warrant from Mysuru. Balaji is known to serve as a Director at Bharathi Cements.

With this arrest, the total number of individuals taken into custody in connection with the liquor scam has now reached five.
