Assembly adjourned twice over YSRCP protests

Hyderabad, March 25, 2015: AP assembly had faced two adjournments this morning following protests staged by YSRCP members after Speaker rejected their plea to take up discussion on the problems of the farmers in the AP Capital region. Speaker also rejected adjournment motions served by YSRCP members on the issue. Speaker ruled out discussion on the issue saying that debate was already over on farmers' problems in the capital region. Earlier, leader of the YSRCP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy made it clear in the House that his party never opposed capital city construction but only wanted discussion on the forcible taking away of farmers' lands.
