Jayasudha: Politicos asking me to retire from contest

Hyderabad, March 25, 2015: Actress Jayasudha, who is rival to actor Rajendra Prasad in the election to the MAA (Movie Artistes Association) president, has alleged that some political leaders have called her and asked her to retire from the contest. Refusing to reveal the names of the political leaders who asked her to retire from contest, Jayasudha said she has decided to contest the election with a strong feeling that women also should take up such responsibilities. It may be recalled that out going president of MAA, Muralimohan has openly announced his support to Jayasudha candidature in the election at a press meet here on Tuesday. The election to the post of MAA president and Muralimohan's open support to Jayasudha has only exposed the group rivalries prevalent among the Tollywood actors.
