Notification issued on allocation of All India Service officers to TS, AP
Hyderabad: The central government is believed to have finalised the allocation of IAS, IPS and IFS officers for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
According to a gazette notification issued by the central government, 133 IAS officers have been allocated to the Telangana cadre, while 161 have been allocated to the AP cadre.
The gazette notification also states that 95 IPS officers have been allocated to the Telangana cadre, while AP got 116 IPS officers.
Similarly, Telangana has been given 58 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers, while AP got 69.
The allocations were done based on the recommendations of the six-member Pratyush Sinha committee. Pratyush Sinha is a former Central Vigilance Commissioner.
In the undivided Andhra Pradesh there were a total of 376 IAS, 258 IPS and 149 IFS officers.
The gazette notification was issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Home and Environment and the list mentions the names, batch and cadre for IAS, IPS and IFS officers.
