Singapore daily : No politics of victimisation in AP

Singapore, March 7, 2015: Singapore's highly circulated Straits Times has commented that there are no politics of revenge in Andhra Pradesh like in Tamil Nadu. The paper said in an article that polices used to change in Tamil Nadu whenever there was a change of government during elections because of main parties' indulgence in politics of victimisation and revenge. "However, AP is not handicapped by such politics. There is no political rivalry in the state as existed between DMK and AIADMK in Tamil Nadu. Policies will not change even if a new leader comes into power after the next elections in AP," said the daily in the article published in the backdrop of Singapore companies showing interest to invest in AP. Meanwhile, AP Government adviser Parakala Prabhakar has found fault with the comments of YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy during his visit to the AP Capital region villages. "Jagan Mohan Reddy assured people that he would return the lands of the farmers when he comes into power. This is not correct as it may create a sense of insecurity among the investors," Prabhakar said.
