KCR unhappy with Dr. Rajaiah, looking for replacement

Hyderabad, Jan 24, 2015: Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao, who is very much upset with the casual handling of the Swine Flu outbreak in the state by the Health Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Dr. T. Rajaiah, is reportedly mulling to drop him from the Cabinet. KCR has been asking his ministers to respond quickly to the public issues and take strong measures to solve them so that the Government will be hailed as a responsive Government by one and all. However, the way the outbreak of Swine Flu was handled by the Health department has angered the Chief Minister. After the high level review meeting over the issue chaired by KCR two days ago, he had transferred the Health department director R.Sambasiva Rao. In fact. KCR had also expressed his dissatisfaction with Rajaiah for not taking timely action for correcting the situation. Reports indicate that KCR is looking for an alternative person to replace Dr. Rajaih and the replacement will be from the same Madiga community to which Dr. Rajaiah belongs. The changes will take place at the most appropriate time. There is another reason for KCR's unhappiness with the Health Department. He came to know that corruption took place in the purchase of 108 Ambulances and appointment of Para-medical staff in some of the hospitals. According to reports, KCR is firm on overhauling the department and the changes may take place sooner than later.
