FM gives up subsidy on LPG
New Delhi, Jan 9: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is reported to have voluntarily given up use of subsidised LPG and has opted to buy the cooking gas at the market rate, tweeted Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Pradhan said Jaitley is setting an example to his colleagues and those people who can afford.
The NDA government has been asking the rich people to avoid accepting subsidies on LPG so that the cylinders can be made available to people who deserve it.
