Tollywood dialogue writer Ganesh Patro passes away

Chennai, Jan 5, 2015 : Well known playwright, critic and story and dialogue writer Ganesh Patro, 69, passed away of cancer this morning at a private hospital in Chennai. Ganesh Patro hailed from Parvathipuram of Vizianagaram district and started his career as a writer for Telugu movies in 1965 and worked for hundreds of movies till mid-1990s. Starting his second innings in Tollywood , he wrote dialogues for the recent Mahesh Babu-Venkatesh starrer 'Sitamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. His plays Tarangalu and Asura Sandhya and skits Koduku Puttala, Pavala, Laabham, Triveni and Aagandi, Konchem Alochinchandi had become very popular among the masses.
