Petition filed against 'Desh Bhakt Nathu Ram Godse' movie

Pune, Dec 25, 2014: A social activist has filed a petition in a Pune Court seeking stay on the release of the movie 'Desh Bhakt Nathuram Godse'. The movie , produced by Hindu Mahasabha, is set to hit screens across India on Jan 30, the day he killed Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi 66 years ago. Social activist Hemanth Patil, who filed the petition , told the court that the movie, if released, will result in outbreak of religious hatred and violence .
