Sonia discharged from hospital

New Delhi, Dec 23: Congress president Sonia Gandhi, admitted to a hospital here for an infection in her lower respiratory tract, was Tuesday discharged, a doctor said. "Her condition is stable. She has been advised rest and to continue her medication," said D.S. Rana of the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital where Gandhi was admitted Dec 18. According to doctors the problem was quite common during winters. There has been intense speculation about her health after her 2011 surgery in the US.
