Big B says he fought back TB

Mumbai, Dec 22: Actor Amitabh Bachchan disclosed he was diagnosed with tuberculosis way back in 2000, but he fought back and won the battle. Recently, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) had roped in Amitabh as an ambassador for its anti-TB campaign. Amitabh said, “I was diagnosed with tuberculosis when Kaun Banega Crorepati was to be launched in 2000. TB can happen to anyone.” He said this at the launch of the campaign titled TB Harega Bharat Jitega. He went on to say that he felt tired and experienced loss of appetite. "TB can be treated, one does not need to stop daily routine. I worked on KBC without any problem,” he said.
