Security lapses in Charlapally jail found
Hyderabad, March.5: The flaws in the security of Cherlapally jail came to the fore once again. The higher officials were shocked when they found cell phones, gas stove and mixy-grinder with two inmates of Cherlapally jail. The two inmates—Mohammed and Pahelwan were in the jail for two year imprisonment in the case relating to attack on MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi. The officials found cell phones, gas stove and mixy-grinder in their barrak. The jail staff seized them.
The DIG of Prisons Akula Narasimham expressed anger at Cherlapally jail deputy superintendent Dasharatham on this issue. According to rumors, the goods which are with the jail inmates reached inside the jail with the cooperation of jail staff.
