Amaravati capital lands mortgaged to Singapore, alleges YCP's Roja

In a fresh attack on Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is touring East Asia for bringing in investment, the YCP alleged on Tuesday that the ruling TDP leader was looting the Amaravati capital lands in all aspects in the name of benamis. Talking to the media at the YCP headquarters on Tuesday, YCP leader Roja charged `Peadababu Chandrababu and Chinababu Lokeshbabu' were indulging in appportioning the capital lands in benami names. She said TDP stood for Telugu Dongala (robbers) Party. Roja further charged that the self-respect of the Andhras was being mortgaged to the singaporeans. At the same time, the TDP government was in no position to fight the Centre to demand the implementation of the constitutional provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. Chandrababu had no feelings like `My Farmrers, My People.' She alleged Chandrababu had sketched a plan by which the Singaporeans would rule over the Capital lands, while he would get his portion. Giving away lands to the Singaporeans, Chandrababu was putting the future of the Andhras in the foreigners' hands. She wondered whether Chandrababu is Chief Minister for AP or Singapore. Roja was worried that the people would have to do the bidding of the Singaporeans.
