High Court orders demolition of TRS MLA's mansion

Qutbullapur MLA K.P. Vivekanand Goud is facing a disproportionate assets case in the High Court. The Hyderabad High Court, which took up the case, on Monday ordered the demolition of his mansion in which a corporate college is functioning. The mansion is at Chintal Hyderbasti. The High Court said in its order that illegal constructions ought to be demolished. The court said the corporate college in the premises must be evacuated and the building should be demolished. The court ordered the demolition after hearing the assets case. Vivekanand Goud was elected as a TDP MLA, but he joined the ruling TRS after the GHMC election results were out. He changed the party on the ground that the people are with the TRS.
