Gutta, Vinod brothers pained at quitting Congress

Gutta Sukhender Reddy, Congress MP of Nalgonda, on Monday announced that he along with the brothers, former MP Vivek and former Minister Vinod, would be joining the ruling TRS. Speaking at a media conference held at Vivek's residence at Somajiguda, Sukhender Reddy said that it was their common desire to become partners in the development of Telangana. It pained them that they had to leave the Congress. But they could not help it because there were internal rivalries in the Congress. They were under pressure on account of it. Sukhender said they would co-operate with Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. He claimed that he had delivered on the Congress belief in him. He noted that the Congress had given him the chance to contest for parliament twice. Vinod and Vivek are brothers and sons of the late leader G. Venkat Swamy.
