Harish informs Dattatreya about irrigation projects

Faced with wide criticismn by Andhra Pradesh leaders against irrigation projects taken up by the Telangana government, State Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao met with Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya in Hyderabad on Saturday. Harish informed Dattatreya about the AP attitude and what Telangana wanted from the Centre in this regard. He also told the Union Minister about Telangana's share and problems of the State in regard to the Krishna River Board. He charged that the Krishna Board was favouring AP. Therefore he sought Dattatreya's help in this regard. Sources said AP calling the projects illegal and the reasons for their construction came up at the meeting. Harish Rao was accompanied by several officials during the meeting. Friday's Telangana Cabinet meeting decided to complain to the Centre on the AP attitude.
