TS Prisons Dept plans Massage Centres

Hyderabad, Oct 04: Telangana Prisons Department is planning to set up massage centres in jails to increase revenue. According to reports, the officials have already selected and trained some prisoners in massage centre and spa management. The massage and spa centres will be opened after Dasara festival and the prisoners will provide nature cure and massage services to customers. The centres would charge less money when compared to boutiques being operated by MNCs and private organizations. Telangana Prisons DG VK Singh is implementing a slew of measures to achieve financial self-sufficiency in the department. Recently he announced that the department would achieve surplus revenue soon. The department also planned to construct a shopping mall to boost revenue.
