Digvijaya Singh marries TV anchor Amrita Rai

Delhi, Sep 06: Senior Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh has confirmed his marriage with TV anchor Amrita Rai. Speaking to a news magazine, Digvijaya said that he is in US and will issue a statement once he returns. A popular newspaper has reported that 68-year old Divijaya Singh and Rajya Sabha TV anchor Amrita Rai married at a temple in Tamil Nadu. Digvijaya's confirmation has put an end to all the speculations in media about the issue. Amrita Rai too confirmed the news through a Facebook post. She said that marriage was held as per Hindu traditions and it was registered. Digvijaya's first wife Asha Singh passed away in 2013.
