DS appointed as TS govt special advisor

Hyderabad, Aug 21: The Telangana government has appointed former Minister Dharmapuri Srinivas as its special advisor. The government today issued orders to this extent. DS is entitled Cabinet-rank and he will look after Inter-state affairs. According to reports, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao called up D Srinivas this morning and informed about the appointment. It may be noted that DS recently joined TRS in the presence of CM KCR. D Srinivas worked as a Minister and PCC president. DS was deeply hurt as Congress party refused to nominate him to council for another term. Earlier, reports emerged that he would be either nominated to Rajya Sabha or Council.
