Children sell blood for smartphone

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh): Not only adults, even children are craving for smartphones. In a shocking incident, three children sold their blood in order to buy smartphone. The incident happened at Chowka in Uttar Pradesh. The three siblings are working in local shops. They were planning to buy smartphone for the past few months but they were short of money. They approached a person working in a pathological laboratory in the vicinity to sell their blood. The lab employee offered Rs 500 each to the children and collected blood. On knowing about the incident, police detained the children and the lab employees and started questioning.
