Chennur: Former BRS MLA Nallala Odelu's shocking defection to the Congress party in Chennur constituency has sent ripples through the local political landscape. Alongside Odelu, his wife Bhagyalakshmi, Chairperson of Manchiryal Zilla Parishad, and their supporters, switched allegiance in a ceremony held in Hyderabad. Notably, Odelu, a three-time legislator, had won elections under the TRS banner before being denied a BRS ticket in 2018. The couple cited a lack of recognition and engagement within BRS, further complicating the party's internal dynamics. Earlier, they alleged BRS MLA Balka Suman intentionally insulting them.
