Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who is currently in judicial custody due to an alleged multi-crore case, faces a new request for 15 days of custody from the Andhra Pradesh Police Crime Investigation Department (CID). This request was filed on Monday and is scheduled for a hearing on Wednesday. In response to these allegations, Nara Lokesh, the General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party and Chandrababu Naidu's son, spoke out. He argued that the accusations of financial wrongdoing and shell companies were unfounded and driven by political motives. Nara Lokesh stressed that there was no solid evidence to support these claims and suggested that this was a case of political vendetta ahead of upcoming elections. He also expressed confidence that the Telugu Desam Party would overcome these challenges and regain power in Andhra Pradesh in the future.
