Protests have erupted among party members throughout the state in response to the arrest of TDP chief Chandrababu. Consequently, the police have been detaining these protestors in various locations. Numerous prominent leaders have already been taken into custody, and some were apprehended at their residences. In a show of force, a significant police presence was observed around the homes of several key leaders. MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy engaged in a confrontation with the police when they arrived to place him under house arrest. He demanded to see the arrest warrant and questioned the necessity of his detention. This situation led to heightened tension in the area due to the heavy police presence.
