In an exciting development, Chandrayaan 3 has shared its very first picture of the Vikram lander, captured by the Pragyan rover. The snapshot was taken early on Wednesday morning, just one week after the successful gentle touchdown at the Moon's southern pole. The photo was clicked using the navigation camera located on the Pragyan rover. In the image, we can clearly observe the Vikram lander resting on the lunar surface. Notably, two of its important payloads, known as ChaSTE and ILSA, are also visible in the photograph. This significant achievement marks another step forward in our understanding of the Moon and its exploration.
