Hyderabad: In a tragic incident that unfolded on Wednesday night, Hyderabad's Miyapur was shaken by a shooting. Devender Gayan, the general manager at Sandarshini Elite Restaurant in Madinaguda, became the target of the attack. The assailants discharged five rounds, causing significant commotion. Despite swift efforts to rush him to the hospital, Devender Gayan, aged 35 and hailing from Kolkata, couldn't survive his injuries. Investigations are currently underway to uncover the motives behind this unfortunate event, with initial suspicions pointing towards unresolved feuds. Madhapur Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Sandeep Rao and Miyapur ACP Narasimha Rao visited the scene, expressing optimism in the speedy apprehension of the culprits. The assailant, wearing a helmet, fired shots around 9:40 pm as Devender exited the hotel.
