Hyderabad: Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the leader of Telugu Desam Party (TDP), marked India's 77th Independence Day by hoisting the national flag at his residence in Hyderabad. The ceremonial event was graced by the presence of his grandson, Devansh. Prior to the flag-unveiling, both Chandrababu Naidu and young Devansh paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi's portrait, engaging in a ritualistic pounding of coconuts before the tricolor was unveiled. The occasion provided an opportunity to commemorate the sacrifices made by freedom fighters in their struggle for India's independence. As a token of appreciation, sweets were shared amongst the attendees, including staff members present at the ceremony. Expressing his thoughts on this significant day, Chandrababu Naidu extended his heartfelt Independence Day wishes to the nation's citizens.
